In Greece, the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation (HERRCO) Waste Recycling System, which is licensed by the Hellenic Recycling Agency (HRA), operates with its primary, but not the only, collection method being the blue bins and the blue bells, an endeavour that started in 2003.

HERRCO: Successfully completed its presence at the 88th TIF
With great success Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation (HERRCO) participated at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF). More than 15.000 visitors visited HERRCO’s interactive booth. Public and private bodies, representatives of the press, representatives of political parties, municipal authorities, businesses, and the public were informed by the company executives about the organization's overall activity in packaging recycling.
